“This series explores the complexity of body image and self-identity throughout the process of entering adulthood. As I approach college graduation, I find myself reflecting on how people perceive me and how I want to be seen. The reflections in the mirrors might not be what you expect, mirroring my own reactions when I look at myself. In this series, the subjects interact with mirrors to create illusions and offer different perspectives. Through surrealism, viewers are invited to use their imaginations to create their own narratives from these images, and perhaps reflect on their own image and identity.” (5/1/2024)
